E26
Exodus chapter 26 provides a specification for the construction of the complementation space. The specifications detail a courtyard and a tent. the following study analyses the philosophy of architectonic order described in the specifications.
Tent Wall Composition
Compromise of Numbers
E26 contains compromise of the number. The proposed system fits the base 2 and 6 American stranded system harmoniously within the base 5 metric system.
The courtyard fence posts are specified at base 5 datum. The frames that structure the tent is specified at base 2. The finish and insulation curtains are specified at base 4 with an overlap align to the truss base 2 system. The total tent length is specified at 40.
The dimensions of the curtains and truss components are specified. The width of the tent defined by the truss is not specified. I constructed the mode to determine the width as a parametric component. I modification of this components modifies the datum. A 7' - 0" Hall would make the total assembly 10' - 0" in width thus assimilating into the base 5 datum. I chouse to digitally construct with the trusses 8' - 0" apart creating a tent width of 11' - 0".
Order
Agency in our sounding may be limited and subjective. Under the veneer of chaos in the forest their appears to be an underlying order. The structure of the trees stretches out to the sun. Water flows downhill and the hillside erodes. life is composed of orderly stacks of square carbon.
The architect becomes a creator as they design. This common denominator of the design is the underlaying order. E26 outlines the choreography of the finish, structure, insulation, cladding and footings to construct a harmoniousness datum. This rigor and design labor is then veiled by the finish.
This order and design labor is witnessed by the constructor view of the designer is to look through the vale and witness the underlaying order.
